I once saved my dogs life, was on a boat traveling through Norfolk broad, the boat was loud and slow so couldn't hear much unless someone's right next to you talking, we had 2 dogs with us one was on deck walking around without my knowledge, I had a day dream whilst driving the boat that he would jump off and swim into the reeds never to be seen again, I regained clarity the moment I heard a slight splash, that splash was my dog jumping in the river and when I went to check he was just entering the reeds, had I of not had that day dream I wouldn't of noticed the splash and it would have happened exactly like in the day dream...
