Aging is mandatory. Growing up is successfully hiding your inner chaotic child behind a pile of bills.

One means maturing. Growing old is inevitable but maturity doesn't always come with that. That's why some young people can be wise beyond their years and yet some older people still act childish.

Everyone will age over time, but growing up is only for those who are willing, and I think it has to do with maturity.

1mo

Growing old is something time does to us. Growing up is something we choose to do.

1mo

One is inevitable, the other is choice

1mo

Aging is something natural and involuntary, growing is something that requires effort and will.

1mo

You can age without growing, but you cannot grow without aging.

1mo

Growing old is just adding yearsto your life.Growing up is adding life to your years....You can't stop growing old but you can always choose to keep growing up

1mo

Growing up is learning. Aging is getting older.

1mo

Growing old is getting older. Growing up is becoming wiser, more responsible, and emotionally mature. Age happens automatically maturity is a choice.

1mo

Nothing either way your dying 😕 haha

1mo

There is a difference, but I'm too lazy to say it.

1mo

Grow successfully

1mo

Aging the body, the mind grows

1mo

Nothing is wrong, it's all nonsense, don't overthink.

To me, growing up is a journey of self-discovery, where you learn what really matters. Growing old can sometimes feel like just counting the years.

1mo

Well it's an age old question isn't it? in my view growing up is more about emotional and intellectual maturity (although some people still do not possess it) while growing old is the physical aging of our body

1mo

Wisdom.

1mo

Growing old is a mandatory privilege growing up is learning how to take responsibility

1mo

Just look at your reaction when your birthday comes... 🥲 ... Counting up or down? Hahaha

Science and nature

Wrinkles haha okay, it's the mindset and the way you make decisions. You could be 50, but that doesn't mean you're mature or that you've grown.

1mo

Imo no one ever grows old because there is no old people only people who are young for more time

1mo

Ones a state of mind. The other is forced. 🤣

1mo

I grow equal to maturing, I see things as they are. They improve, I accept. I age equal to giving up on life, I make no effort. We only age when we give up on everything.

1mo

I think getting older is something that happens automatically, but growing up is a choice

1mo

It's just a matter of age that keeps increasing, but adulthood is a personal journey of continuous growth through the challenges of life, striving to become better every time and being able to understand what is best regarding the choices made.

1mo

You age when you lose energy and feel less motivated. You grow up when you better understand different things and have a better strategy for achieving your goals and dreams.

Responding simply and briefly, I would say that growing is when you nourish yourself, absorb everything that contributes to you, whether good or bad, but you are like a sponge, everything is absorbed, and when you age, it's like the sponge when it is already stretched and full of water, and you squeeze it, everything starts to deteriorate, you lose things about yourself, you start to fade because few things can still contribute to you.

It's about self-learning and living in this world, which will present many obstacles/problems and joys. As for old age, when the time is right, we all live until a certain point, and then everyone naturally declines because everything...It's a cycle created by God. Now, if we're doing something that makes us happy, we should do it quickly because time flies. 💞

Aging = accepting fatality, growing = accepting vitality

1mo

maturity

1mo

Growing old is physical, maturing is mental

1mo

Growing up .. fun times , learning , experience life. Growing old fun times , keep learning, enjoy life !

1mo

Maturity is more in the psychological sense, while aging is in the biological and physiological sense.

1mo

I don't know

1mo

We can't do much about aging...but we can and must work on growing 😊
