1The same as mine. We are both grown adults and we put 50-50 in everything. I'm no one's mom, he's not my ATM. With me, it's a partnership, not a hierarchy. Whoever has that ideology is already out of my life, I'm not here to compete or feel less/more than anyone in what's supposed to be my safe place.

4I'm not entirely a fan of this question. Nonetheless, I believe a man's role in a modern relationship isn't a set in stone one. He should be willing to take up roles as needed in the relationship and help his significant other with what they need. Really just being a decent person who works with their partner to help each other through this crazy thing called life is enough. We don't have to put each other in roles that we will not always be able to be at times. Just communicating, loving, and helping wach other out will do alot.

1I do not Agee that a man's role should really need to be defined if a man and his partner are both satisfied in a relationship why box him into a certain lifestyle? A man can be a leader or a follower. A man can be the stay at home dad or the corporate breadwinner. All that really matters is if both people are satisfied.

Personally I don't think there are roles to play I like to work come home and cook then spend time with you but I need some sort of gesture to show that you care preferably an act of doing like clean or something more passionate

1Any partners role in a relationship should be determined by those partners after discussing their wants and needs. Too many assumptions and expectations are placed on people and it sets up miscommunication and imbalance. (edited)

The husband is the head of the family, above the wife. He is to love the wife as Christ loves the church. Being lower in the hierarchy does not make the wife inferior. Just as the children are not inferior just because they are under the parents authority-wise. Everyone has their respective God-given role and it is good. :]
