Everyone is born with courage. The difference is what happens to it as we grow older. We either practice it until it grows stronger... or we let it wither away.

We don't choose the fears we're born with, but we do choose how we respond to them

1mo

Neither. Courage is just the desperation of having no other choice when reality hits you.

1mo

Everything is practiced, even what we carry inside.

1mo

I think it's both. But most of it is practice. It's not just a passive quality we posses but an active act we do.

1mo

I have the vision that we are born with it, but we learn over time, let's say it is stimulated with practice.

When love is real, there is courage.

๐Ÿฆ‡We are born very brave and curious about the world around us without fear and unnecessary thoughts๐Ÿ’• As we grow up, we come under the influence of those around us and our own learned lessons, as a result of which we show courage more thoughtfully and carefullyโœจ๏ธ

Both!

1mo

We are all born with the capacity for courage, but we earn the ability to be brave, one small choice at a time

Practice

1mo

It can be either, some people are naturally courageous and adventurous but it is a skill that can be developed through practice. Have to believe in oneself, first.

Itโ€™s much more complicated. You may be courageous in some situations and in other no. Itโ€™s not black and white. Personally? My courage is often practiced. I have to confront myself with what scares me to see that: oh .. it was nothing.

Practice

Practice makes perfect

The practice

1mo

I believe it's a mix of both. While some people may start off more daring, real courage tends to develop when you act before feeling fully ready.

1mo

I don't know

1mo

Courage is practiced with every small step when you hear yourself say - I can't, I'm afraid. But you take a small step and do what needs to be done. In this way, you add a little to the treasure chest of your courage.

1mo

Courage is gained based on your life experiences.

1mo

I believe that courage is something that is practiced when we face situations that generate fear in us. Thanks to fear, we are able to summon the necessary courage to confront that particular situation, which is something difficult that is shaped over time and through lived experiences.

The courage it takes to ask these questions? Do we want to talk about it?

You are born

Practice

1mo

Courage comes at the moment when you really need it, at the right occasion.

1mo

Courage is practiced.

1mo

Something you practice!

1mo

Something you earn

1mo

Something that is practiced, and I think it could also be something innate. We all have courage, it's just that we manifest it in different ways, some more invisible than others.

1mo

Courage is practiced... some are better disposed than others to act in the face of difficulty, that's all.

1mo

Both. There is the innate, but I think that no one is condemned by the cards they are dealt at birth. Everyone can give themselves the means to learn with the resources they have, and everyone can find their resources through hard work.

1mo

Courage doesn't exist; you can be afraid of something, but if you really want it, you do it! It's just a matter of wanting!

1mo

Something you're born with

1mo

Doesn't it take courage to be born into this world?

1mo

Being born is already an act of courage!

1mo

Definitely a skill that is nurtured and cultivated

1mo

We practice it. Courage comes gradually, when we choose to overcome our fears.

1mo

I believe that we all had courage at some point in life. The difference is that some keep throwing themselves in, while others have been pruned and forget that life is now. Sometimes both coexist as well. I don't believe we have courage all the time. Reality is not a straight line but rather a tangle.

1mo

Throughout life, we may lose the courage for certain things; on the other hand, we need to create it in order to survive...
