I skipped my high school graduation, hopped on a Greyhound, and traveled 2 days cross-country to be with a guy I met on LiveJournal, lol. I still remember seeing those stunning blue New Mexico mountains for the first time. 😍

One of the fondest memory I have of my father, when he was teaching me how to ride a bike. Because he was there, I developed courage to try, persistence to try once again despite the failures, and to keep my focus on the goal ahead. Thank you Papa 😊🙏🏽❤️

Running. Running until I puked, then getting back up and running more. A sprint with all my might along a treacherous path in the woods, all just to escape from something that can't be run from.

My parents were abusive (physically, mentally and emotionally). I learned at very early age to be survivor. I've been through a lot in 58 years but I've never given up.

I'd say this moment had a lasting impact for me. 😬🥵😱

My dad's unexpected death. I was 11yrs old. I lived my life holding on to the rage of losing him. For the next 22yrs. Before, i finally let it go. Now, it has been replaced with the loss of my soulmate furkid, my son. The memory would be gleaming in blue & red.

The first time I stood and walked across a room unaided.. I was 8 years old.

I remember going to a mountain in my country when I was 6. I just stood by the cliff and felt those clouds pass by me, I can still feel the peace to this day.

One of my core memories is when I was in very rural Nebraska and I looked up and finally saw a night sky full of stars instead of the cloudy, minimal star sky of the city. That memory might not count but it's something I think a lot. (edited)
