To do things you won't be proud of. Say you really enjoy your job or a certain hobby but people somehow convince you to leave - that may be something you regret. Or say you really want to travel, or learn a second language, or discover a new hobby but don't - that's wasteful. If you are secure in your choices - your life won't feel wasted

Personally, I believe that wasting a life is not having risked failure out of fear; fear is inevitable, but sometimes it also makes us discover sides of ourselves that we didn't know before.

It means experiencing them not in the way you desire and not striving to change that. It would also mean being in a relationship out of obligation, with someone I don't love and who doesn't care about me, who doesn't treat me like a treasure 🥰
