If time healed everything, there would be no trauma, mental illness, addiction, resentment, bitterness, or depression. Or they would exist temporarily, then they would dissolve and goodbye to the problem! In emotional life there is no time or space, everything happens in an invisible and permanent environment. It is up to us to identify, attend to and work on our emotions. The experiences we live, good and bad, remain in the memory of our soul, and cause us various consequences. time doesn't heal...acceptance maybe yes

Time can certainly help in healing pain, but healing isn't solely reliant on time passing. It's also about what we do with that time. Often, it's the actions we take, the support we seek, and the lessons we learn that contribute to the healing process. Time offers perspective, allowing us to process emotions, adapt, and gradually find ways to cope with and overcome the pain.

It... softens it. Removes it to a distance. Don't know if I can say any of my pain is fully healed. But it doesn't hit me as often, although sometimes it hits as hard. (Typing this while thinking of my friend who passed away when we were 18, I still get a hitch in my breath and an ache in my heart even 37 years later)

Time doesnโ€™t heal anything in itself. What you do with the time, does.

Time has a way of helping us heal. It may not erase the pain completely, but it can soften it and give us the strength to move forward. It's important to take care of ourselves and seek support along the way.

I feel pain never completely fades; it just becomes more manageable as time passes. We learn to cope, adapt, and find strength we didn't know we had. The hurt may still be there but our resilience grows, and we discover that we can endure and thrive despite the scars.

Time can heal wounds but not make them go away, because actually time only gives us "time" to make peace with our situation and "time" also allows us to find the happiness we seek

No, but you can use the pain to learn, heal, forgive, or make all new mistakes and pain, and that will heal. ๐Ÿ˜…

I don't think time heals all pain, I think we either grow with it or let it consume us...

Not entirely! It's just that we get used to it and learn well to deal with it.

It depends, it's like erosion. It can wear away many things but the deepest pain will always leave a hole.

It makes it less severe and allows you to reflect. Some things don't fully heal, that's what acceptance and forgiveness are for (more for you than the other). It may take longer than you think...it's a process for sure.

I wish, but no. Time allows you to grow around the pain. It allows you to process and adapt, but the pain remains in some way, shape, or form.

If you actively put in the effort and the work to heal yourself, yes. Time passing by is just time passing by. It's what you make of it that matters.

Time alone? No...intentionality, reflection, and choosing to move on are key pieces, BUT time helps significantly. Time offers perspective that supports the other pieces.
