Absolutely! I think silence is very underused. We rush to fill every pause, with explanations, apologies, messages, noise, or words we haven't even had time to understand ourselves. But sometimes silence says things words cannot. Silence can mean: I'm listening. I'm thinking. I'm at peace. I don't need to prove anything. I'm choosing not to react. And honestly? Some of the strongest moments in your life came from silence. You didn't have to keep explaining why you walked away from what hurt you. You simply chose your peace. And sometimes, silence is not emptiness, it is self-respect without an announcement 💜

Yes, I think silence is quite underrated. 🤍 Sometimes we think we always have to talk, explain, respond, or solve something. But silence can also be a way to take care of ourselves, observe, and regain peace. It can say: * “I don’t want to argue.” * “I need to think.” * “This hurt me and I don’t know what to say.” * “I’ve understood enough.” * “I prefer my peace.” And there’s something beautiful: not all silence is empty. Sometimes, when you stop filling every space with words, you start to hear what you really feel. That said, there is a difference between silence as peace and silence as punishment or indifference. The former can heal; the latter can hurt. Sometimes silence doesn’t mean you have nothing to say. It means you no longer need to say it all. 🌙

Sometimes silence is worth more than a thousand words.

Yes, most people ignore its value, everything you gain and what you avoid when you make use of it.
22d
Yes, sometimes silence is just necessary.

Indeed, not everyone knows how to appreciate a moment of silence; sometimes it's not just boring silence, it's the calm that our mind and body need.
22d
Yes, they should use it more often lol

I just sing, I don't care if others sing well or poorly, they should sing in their own space to avoid making noise, and you shouldn't ruin their stress relief fun because everyone has their own way of relieving stress. Happy to sing and sad to sing.

Too much. Silence is also an answer.
23d
Silence should be appreciated, because in the end it is as valid a decision as speaking.

Absolute silence is a dream. I enjoy every second of it.

I prefer a quiet environment to work, only talking when necessary.

I guess so. Everyone is talking and needs the others to listen. People wants proofs and arguments about everything. People rarely listen to themselves even when alone. We tends to turn on tv or music, we try to live in noise inside. Silence is not about words coming from our mouths, but from within ourselves. We fear to listen quietly to our real thoughts. So we keep talking to the outside world in every possible way.

Of course

yes, in fact silence is very much needed

Silence is definitely underrated because we tend to perceive it as the absence of sound. But in reality, it carries immense weight. The most important things in life happen in silence: concentration before a leap, genuine empathy without unnecessary words, or when you simply feel comfortable being silent next to a loved one. Silence is an indicator of true closeness and trust. "Music is born not from the notes, but from the pauses between them." Our life is the same. Without silence, all our actions turn into a continuous roar. So yes, silence is underrated; it is the framework for everything else. (edited)
