nostalgia is comforting if we enjoy it as a memory, but dangerous if we get too caught up and want to live in the past again. Remember the past, but don't stay there.

20d

Experiences are different for everyone, for me it's just the past but we can learn from it to make our today and future better.🤗✨🫂 (edited)

It depends on the situation

20d

It matters, sometimes it can be nice when a person is in the right mood, with the right people, but most of the time it's like a roller coaster when one realizes where they were and will never be again.

20d

A lil bit of both Sometimes sweet Sometimes bitter Sometimes bittersweet

20d

It is as comforting as it is dangerous if you get stuck in it.

20d

I think its comforting. It reminds me of a time when things were simple.

Both. Comforting - it reminds you of good times and makes you feel less alone. Dangerous - if you live in it too much, you stop dealing with right now. Use it to recharge, not to escape.

20d

I suppose both, it's good to look back, yes, as long you ain't stuck in it.

20d

comfortable

20d

Too much of it I would say can have you feeling stuck. Reminisce but don't dwell in the past.

20d

Depends on the importance placed on it, longing for past times is good as long as you don’t dwell for it all the time that you can’t live in the present anymore

20d

As long as you don't get lost in it, it can be comforting.

19d

It should be comforting but we shouldn’t be always thinking about the past

20d

Comforting. Because one day it felt good since it was the best part of life. It's no wonder it's Nostalgia.

20d

I think it's pretty circumstantial to the individual and the memory.

20d

Depends on the memories themselves and the time you spend thinking about them. Even good memories that give you comfort can turn into a dangerous thing if you find yourself thinking about them for too long. If you look at those memories with an extreme desire to go back to those times, if you start to miss them on a soul consuming level that's when it starts to become destructive. Nostalgia is good and comforting but being able to snap out of it is just as important. (edited)

20d

Definitely comforting, but we should never live through it exclusively. We need nostalgia to remember the best times and make them happen in the present and future.

20d

It depends on the person, it can be comforting for some, but dangerous for others, it depends on how each one deals with it.

Both, it's nice to feel nostalgia as long as we don't take it to an extreme and lock ourselves in the past without enjoying the present and the future.

20d

Depends! How it engraved in your life., some bring back hauntingly beautiful memories while other take away ur present self.

20d

Unless and until it holds you back its comforting, consuming more is toxic

20d

It can be painful at times, but it's not dangerous!

Nostalgia is group of memories that makes u emotional about ur past....if u r still clinging to ur past... nostalgia can result in depression... especially if u have bad memories or trauma.... otherwise good memories make feeling nostalgic a unique experience one wishes to have again

20d

At times comforting and at times dangerous, it depends on what makes us nostalgic at any given moment... Many factors, but it is definitely an emotion and as such it is worth experiencing and of course understanding the possible causes.

19d

It depends if it is always present, it can be dangerous; sometimes instead it is wanting to relive it if possible.

20d

It can be both things. Nostalgia is comforting when it connects you with moments that did you good; it becomes dangerous when it makes you idealize the past and despise the present.

20d

It depends on whether it's good or bad nostalgia. There are events that shape who we are today, so it's normal to remember them; they are engraved in us, both good and bad. It allows us not to make the same mistakes in the future and at the same time to be able to pull out the famous phrase "it was better before" 😅

19d

I think it's comforting. Memories, smells, sounds, and places can bring back so many beautiful thoughts that have been locked in the past. Once you have experienced one of these triggers, it can bring back an experience that gave you so much joy that you had almost forgotten about. (edited)

20d

One does not negate the other.

19d

Can be dangerous if you cling too much to your memories and then can't move on from them. But it can also be comforting. So good for the soul.

19d

Definitely comforting

20d

Relaxing

20d

What is dangerous is not living in the present! Spending your life in the past, which exists only in our memories, or in a future that may never exist, is all it takes to miss out on your life. Life is the present.

18d

You have to know how to listen... from there understand what it is conveying to you...

20d

Both. Remembering the good times and forget the bad.

19d

Comforting
