One of the most honest conversations I had was with myself yesterday before I went to sleep, where I sincerely said: A person must hold themselves accountable so they don't repeat mistakes and not blame their failures on others. This is the first step to success.

When I ended a relationship, when I realized that I need to love myself and take care of myself.

Tough to say, so many voices, so many conversations...

When I realized that I was 23 years old and had planned my life at 15 and that I wasn't fulfilling any of the plan, I think I relaxed a bit and started living without so much planning from there.

Honestly?? The hardest conversation with myself was convincing myself that I'm a good person regardless of all the horrible things that my mind used to think about myself. Takes time to change the illogical thought patterns. Even you reading this are a good person and should talk to yourself in a kinder voice. You are not as bad as you think you are. We all deserve peace and contentment. We are enough.

-I'll sleep 5 more minutes. -Man, wake up already.

The most honest conversation I've had with myself was realizing that I don't have to be in everyone's good books. Not everyone will like me, and that's okay. I used to think I had to make everyone happy, but I realized that constantly chasing everyone's approval only makes you lose yourself. I'd rather stay true to who I am than seek validation from everyone💁🏻

That you need to forgive and move on, there is nothing else to be done here

1mo

That hurts🥲🥲🥲

I'm going to improve

That I’ve got to stop relying on others for my own happiness. That I’ve got to first be on good terms with myself to actually be happy. Trust me, I’ve seen the world differently since then. Never been this proud of myself♥️ (edited)

The most honest moment was when I admitted to myself that I cannot control the feelings or choices of other people. I can only control how I choose to live and love.

1mo

I shouldn't always rely on what people think of me.

- I can buy the big pack chocolate cheaper and then have a little bit every day - no you can't - you're probably right, but I'm going to try anyway. It will help me build character - you will fail - then I will learn something from my failure - we've had this discussion before - yes - many times - yes - you still haven't learned - no... can I get a chocolate for trying?

1mo

Not to give up when I get disappointed.

1mo

Self reflection.

1mo

That regarding things I could no longer ignore

1mo

That I've outgrown people I still miss.

1mo

Think carefully before saying some things

1mo

The most honest conversation I've had with myself was admitting that loving someone isn't enough if you're the only one fighting for the relationship. That was painful, but it was also the beginning of choosing myself.

Bro when you're in the shower and you start to ask yourself things Xd

When I realized that I couldn't do it alone and needed help... It's hard to admit that you can't do it alone when you think that others have their own problems and telling them yours is just burdening them more. Sometimes the people around us are closer than we think.

1mo

One of which I had to remind myself that I need a "how" or two in order to get where I want to go.

1mo

You were very sad. You were very naive. Now get up. And be strong.

1mo

People are so fake these days. Why?

1mo

I don't know anymore, the voices in my head never stop talking!

1mo

That people won’t show up for me, like I do them.

1mo

The day I finally accepted to understand that I too was a problem in my relationships by repeating the same patterns.

1mo

I have had and always will have many honest conversations with myself. The problem is "translating" them into actions.

1mo

....

1mo

If

1mo

That no matter how the world treats you, you never lose your kindness and compassion

1mo

I always have honest conversations with myself; it wouldn't make sense otherwise because why should I lie to myself?

1mo

People will never treat you the way you want them to treat you, nor how you treat them.

When I broke up with my ex, I realized my needs were neglected for even the most basic of things. Even I'm worth more than that and I shouldn't let what he had over me take control for the rest of my life.
