Not at all, it is overly romanticized that things are only worth it when you suffer for them.

Yes, through it we learn so that the same mistakes are not made, it is through sadness that we can distinguish happy days, although I think I would have preferred to remain ignorant in some aspects 🤣 (edited)

Most of them no, but let's remember that there is no happiness without having known suffering.

There are inevitable pains that leave deep scars, but suffering is a choice. I didn't come to this world necessarily to suffer; I came with the purpose of evolving. (edited)

I think that suffering teaches a lot, but I don't know if it's always necessary.

Suffering, categorized in what sense? Physical suffering is inevitable, mental and/or emotional suffering is nonexistent; it is merely created by ourselves, and it will be necessary if you want it to be, or just nonexistent if you do not give mental or emotional importance to the event.
1mo
No, many times it could be avoided but you have to have the courage to face it.

No. Understanding suffering as prolonged pain over time... At least psychologically it is not necessary. It is a consequence of thought. The pain of memory 🫶

I don't know, it depends, because suffering for love gives you a lesson, but suffering physically due to some events is different since it's something that is out of your control.

No, not all suffering is necessary; there is a thorny confusion between the pain of growth and mere pain. The pain of development is essential because it builds meaning and develops your character, while the senseless suffering resulting from injustice or ignorance is mere bleeding that does not grant wisdom, but leaves scars that could have been avoided. Testing for a noble purpose creates immortality, while pain for the sake of pain is just misery.

No, I don't think that suffering is necessary in itself. Some sufferings are unjust, unnecessary, and could be avoided. On the other hand, I think that once it exists, it can sometimes teach us something about ourselves. It can make us more clear-sighted, more sensitive to others, or push us to change certain things. But I don't believe we should romanticize suffering: growing up shouldn't necessarily involve pain. Sometimes, the most important thing is not to find a reason for what we've experienced, but simply to manage to keep going despite it.

No. Suffering does not necessarily have a purpose.

Not all suffering is necessary... Some is an unavoidable part of being human.. loss, failure, and growth often shape wisdom and resilience. But much suffering is preventable and should never be glorified. Meaning can emerge from pain, yet that doesn't mean the pain itself was required or justified in the first place.
1mo
All that suffering you inflict on yourself is not necessary and leads to no inner resolution.
1mo
Definitely

I believe that pain makes you learn, but I firmly believe that there are times when life is cruel, and that you can learn with less pain too...

It's optional

No, sometimes we drown in a glass of water just because, when we could solve things and not suffer so much.

If everything were beautiful without suffering, they would feel empty; in life, everything has a balance, even that which hurts us.

1mo
No, but many times it is a consequence of our actions; we must learn from each experience, no matter how painful it may be.
1mo
That's not it, but pain makes us stronger.
1mo
What we learn from blows is true, but sometimes it is just greed.
1mo
Without suffering, humans do not learn, but there are sufferings that are better never to know.

Yes, it's necessary to train our minds to become more mature.
