Hey squirrel friend! I believe that people may look like opposites, but deep down share the same traits. Like someone serious might attract a jokester. Instead of saying they are opposites, I'd say that the serious one may seem serious on the outside, but on the inside, they might be just as funny.

There's already many good answers here, but I'll add my input anyways lol. Basically, I would say it depends on what is meant by "opposites" and what one's dealbreakers are... Some good match couples could be: ➀ introverts paired with extroverts. ➁ passive paired with assertive. ➂ soft-spoken paired with loud. ➃ reserved paired with open. Those may work for some couples extremely well and bring out the best in both of them. However, there are some opposites that, as I mentioned, could be a dealbreaker for some. For example: ➊ a party-animal paired with a homebody. ➋ a messy person paired with a clean person. ➌ someone who requires a lot of alone time paired with someone who requires a lot of time together/with people. ➍ a person who always takes things too seriously paired up with a person who never takes things seriously. These types would drive each other CRAZY. It's all about finding the right balance of what does and doesn't work and someone who is complementary to your life, brings value, or someone you can grow with in a healthy/positive way.
