Being understood is better. They might not remember me, but they might remember that someone once gave advice about something they're going through.

Understood - if people don't understand you/ where you're coming from, being remembered has no value, imo. I wouldn't want to be remembered by people that don't understand my intentions.

I'd rather be understood. Being remembered doesn't always mean people truly knew who you were. I'd rather have someone understand my intentions, my values, and why I make the choices I do. I've made mistakes, been through difficult relationships, carried responsibilities, and learned a lot from those experiences. If someone understands that side of me, that's more meaningful than simply remembering my name. Being understood means being accepted for who I really am, not just for what people see on the surface.🙂🙂

I prefer to be remembered because in the end, being understood won't help me since, in the end, no one understands you completely. It's just you, so I prefer to be remembered for something that truly marked them, for something I did.
