I made my own (can't claim to be a leatherworker making wallets and bags without using my own product). But before that, any I bought I never used. I only ever used the ones I was given as gifts. One thing I would say, it is supposedly bad luck to gift a wallet or purse that is empty. They should always have at least a coin in.
