There are only toxic people
Toxicity masculinity does not exist and toxic femininity does not exist. There are just toxic people who make poor choices that lead to the harm of others. That is selfishness. Versus someone who is self aware and acts of of love to ensure their actions do not cause harm to others or themselves. There is a difference. Edit: There are only toxic behaviors and toxic people. Someone's gender and sexuality has nothing to do with how people act. Their actions are choices. Not genders. (edited)

🤔 I was under the impression that toxic masculinity isn’t a personal trait but calling out certain beliefs about masculinity to be toxic. I know a lot of men who believe that they can’t cry because it’s not what men are supposed to do, but from a scientific/psychological aspect that’s actually a very harmful ideal for humans to practice. Therefore, an aspect of masculinity that can bring harm with consistent exposure, toxic. So if a man refuses to cry is he inherently toxic? If a person consumes poison are they poisonous or poisoned?
