How does one cope with falling in love with someone they've been dating passionately for months, and then the other person starts to pull away suddenly? Do you let them go? Or do you tell them how you really feel about them?

Tell them how you feel and possibly ask about the concern of the sudden distance. If theyโre a good healthy connection with you, they will be direct and honest, while validating your feelings. You bringing it up once should resolve the issue and should be corrected. If the emotional distance continue, I would recommend slowly detaching from the person as well. A person who truly loves you will consider your feelings and handle it accordingly.

Best advice I ever got was this: stay busy. What ive found as an anxious attach when the chips are down is you can break yourself trying to hold on, or you can work on the healing you deserve, and space might be the remedy the relationship needs. If you love them let them go. If you tell them how you feel don't expect it back, and be ready to express that you respect the distance. I think it's important to let them know you still care, but with restraint and respect for yourself. Focus on what used to make you happy before them. This is just my opinion, I don't think there's a right answer that applies to all relationships. I wish you the best and i hope things work out for you two. This too shall pass.

My mind goes to one of two things. One they may have lost interest and the best thing for that is to have a conversation about it and see where yall are truly at. Sometimes love can be unrequited and you grow from it. Option 2 you may be moving to fast for them and well slow it down some. Having alot of love for someone who is not quite where you are can come off as clingy or needy. Again a conversation about that with I statements would be great. Like "I feel and I see" (edited)

As long as you're open and honest in your communication to one another, that's what matters most. If they're just not feeling it anymore, at least they can let you know and give you space to move on. At the minimum, they will know where you stand, and the next step (or lack thereof) for either of you can be filled with a lot less uncertainty.

Let them go. Love should be easy and not have you feeling like you're the only one putting effort or feeling into the relationship. It should be like and feel like a friendship that you can talk about anything and everything. This is just my opinion and everybody is different. You have to do what makes you happy.
