Depends. If it was a genuine mistake then yes, if it was something that took active thought to do (i.e cheating) then no.

Well depends. First off, don’t just give them a second chance unless they truely understand what they did wrong, how it hurried you and made you feel and they have an idea on how they can fix their mistake. Secondly, you got to have the resolve to forgive them for what they have done and (if your someone who blames themself for their misfortune) you got to be ready to forgive yourself for whatever happened If they are true sorry for what they have done and both of you are fully willing to forgive eachother and yourselves, then they deserve a second chance with both your goals in line towards improving your past relationship

Only if it was a good relationship and you can’t stop thinking about that person and still love them.

Put in a mirrored position, would you want a second chance? Would you believe you deserved one. And, if you had close friend or family member who was cheated on, or was the cheater, how would you advise them to proceed? I hope those questions help. It's not a question I can answer for you.

Yes. As long as the first chance wasn't wasted/taken advantage of.

I agree with @Cortland ....if it really was a genuine mistake then yes, forgiveness and second chances are good.

I give more chances than most deserve if I'm in the relationship and trying to make it work, but once I'm done I'm done. I never redate exes.

And thirds and fourths and fifths and sixths and sevenths. People are flawed and prone to patterns or ruts as we don't like change. So results we're looking for could take a while to be clearly seen.

If its a real mistake without intention, yes~with caution. Ppl make mistakes, however; cheating is not a mistake, its a decision, then ~ to eternal never see again.

Depends on their sins like if it's just minor and unintentional then forgive but if it's major and intentional then no. Just my perspective tho.

I will not be cheated on again. But, I don't believe that they don't deserve a second chance, it'll just be with someone else.

It depends, but personally I'm not really for second chances. If you broke my trust in some way it's very difficult, if nearly impossibile, to have it back.

The answer you give says a lot about you. People who say no are only saying no because they know they themselves don't deserve a second chance & are deflecting blame on others.

Using Shiv Roy for this was a setup lol. But i think it all depends on circumstances and how things played out ultimately. Some people can be forgiven for certain things that’s others can’t

Yeah, but it depends ofc, most of the people doesn't know how to deal with a Lot of things so it's ok to commit mistakes, There's certain cases that obviously is not a good idea but There's another cases which is worth ir.

If our lessons with the specific person are learned and the universe says to let go, then there is no need to give a second chance. Sometimes it's not about the chances, it is about us and the simple question "Do we need something more to improve within us while being in a relationship with them?" The so called "bad" experiences exist to improve our endurance to the point where we know exactly where and when to invest our energy. So yeah. Are you ready to move to a new version of yourself?😉

Hmmm...I still believe in second chance but depends on her mistakes...If her mistakes kept occurrence constantly, then it's a 🚩...However, if she's clean from trouble and want a second chance with me...I'll considered it but she must pay her mistakes by repeat the same date as before since the first date as a reconciliation of our relationship...

I always say that forgiveness is up to you, but giving a second chance depends entirely on the other person
