7Sounds like what I sometimes bump into in reverse. People who put ‘looking for friends’ when they are really only looking for relationships (or hookups) and doing so because it bypasses filters and ‘women don’t mean it [looking for friends] anyway’ To me, this and yours sounds dishonest. If someone uses this flag to bypass people’s filters, that’s dishonest. If the don’t want a relationship/to date, but they select it anyway, that’s dishonest. If they do it by accident, fine, that can happen. But it sound alike your person knows what they are doing and you deserve honesty and care. Do you think that person will give you that? (Honest question, and you don’t need to answer it. Just want you to think about it because that is what you deserve to receive: A relationship that is founded in honesty)

7No… that’s a lie. If they were only looking for friends, that’s what they’d put on their profile. They’re trying to avoid having a tough conversation and they need to respect you enough to just be honest

7Indeed relationship is not something that you can offer or ask only by seeing profile. Relationship is need long way to build but I think some people do looks for relationship so they only want to match with people who really have the same goal. Like they want to synchronize the goal from the very beginning because many people here only looking for fun or hook up which is will only waste their time if they just find out after a while.

Sorry to send direct i thought it was reply 😆. They say that having only the friendship tag means people wont talk to them. They know how i feel about them and say that they're not ready for a relationship atm but if something happens naturally then fair. They've also said they're not discounting me as an option but just not now. We live together btw
