1) Show how genuine you are not after a relationship but even before starting the relationship 2) Be consistent in your communication. Don't just go and find a partner when you are bored. 3) Be real, be honest, be transparent and be authentic. 4) Show your weaknesses and strengths before the relationship even begins. The one for you will accept you as you are. The wrong ones will either block you or ghost you. It's their loss. Not yours. 5) Give your time and values to the other person if you feel that they can be your potential person or even when they are not yet. That shows you are serious and this is who you are. You are not losing anything except being real. 6) Show them how much you prioritise your actions rather than just words or sweet talk. 7) Tell them about yourself with humility and kindness. Don't brag about who you are. Be humble and polite. That's called emotional maturity. 8) Make an effort to know about them. Don't just wait for everything to be served to you. 9) Be polite but mindful. Be respectful and be within your boundaries. Do not sexualise everything. Your partner is a human, not a sex toy. These are all wonderful thoughts, and I know I practice them and cherish when others do, too. I just wish more people valued them, as such things tend to be overlooked, mistrusted or judged harshly in my experience. Still, I prefer to be this type of person and am grateful there are some who feel the same. Thanks for helping to keep hope alive! (edited)

The not sexualizing everything I think for me was hard and also more learning to spend time giving affection so that it felt more supportive and trusting. For example: just spending time with your partner for no reason other than to communicate how you love them and support them. That without giving into other passions. Then the sexual parts felt more authentic and secure so everything was more⦠genuine?
