I think we were programmed to not think that way through our parents and society, that we need another person to complete us. But it's not true, only we can complete ourselves, when we come to terms with the parts of us that we don't like and try to avoid.

We don't forget love. We just don't trust anyone else to love us that way and so we too don't. We all are just mostly protecting ourselves. He loves you, that's why he's with you. If he didn't he wouldn't be.

Body shaming

If it's rude to comment on a womans appearance i.e. weight looks etc. Why then is it not okay to apply the same mentality to when women shame men for things out of their control. The most common being height or losing hair. It baffles me.
