Saying this to try and start a conversation in your feeds or post will not get you that conversation. Why would anyone want to speak to someone who's bored? Make yourself appealing. Honestly. There's is so much to do in life yet people think 'I'm bored =entertain me/give me attention' works.

I've seen there is no discussion about the boundaries around emotional labour.

Briefly

Emotional labour, as in the shifting dynamics, experiences within the relationship, and dealing with the realities of life, that require participation from both partners for harmony to be maintained

We do not have enough discussion about the neurological reality of men's communication within relationships

We communicate for significantly different reasons

To directly deal with subjects so as to be understood and dealt with. Determining if action is needed or not. 

Taking the details of life and dealing with what is required.

Mens Unconscious experience is vaguely (Go through the struggle, acquire the goal. Have the Pleasure experience. )

Everything is about conserving mental energy and find the exact, perfectly formed solution to the problem. 

Unconsciously driven towards making sure what is physically needed is taken care of.

The process makes sure we stay sharp and in tune with the world. 

Men.( a significant portion of the populations of men) 
Do not bond over, amplifying the emotional content of any given experience to it's maximum, in order to explore it's contents.

There is however, highly significant pleasure and meaning derived from in engaging with the daily experiences of life like this for the women in our lives. 

This form of communication appears to allow women keep themselves within the protection of the female group

Constructing themselves into a social token, that can engage in the shared warding off the dangers of life

And support in getting what they desire from the social group at large

And to make sure focus and care is being given to the group in the best ways possible. As much as possible. For as long as possible. 

The biological realities of sickness and pain, changing needs. 

All inspire our counterparts to make sure they're being looked upon favourably. Use talking to illicit bonding experiences from those around them so that they will subconsciously seek to physically protect and politically support them. 

Our emotional requirements are significantly different

And we don't speak enough about the excess's of verbal communication within our relationships

We do not bond over more details than that are required.

We only comb through conversations for actionable details. 

We seek to be the group. Gain position and distinction within the group. This all requires physical participation and proving of ability. Peering through things and finding their essence. 

Excess of detail, constant probes for reaffirming the state of allegiancs 

all run counter to our state of survival and our natural emotional spectrum or state. 

We need to create discussion about finding the cut off point and how we can artfully meet in the middle and everyone get what they need.

It needs to become normal that Women gain the understanding of how men require and bond through silence, and actions. 

How our resistance to going to those emotional landscapes is not negative, or detrimental, or evidence of a lack of care, love, investment. 

And how some overt forms communication within the group are shut off from men 

And women never need to have any strength or ability in order to qualify for protection of the group. 

Men do 

This underpins everything for men. 

Women will not experience this pressure and the isolation that come with it. 

This needs to be taken into account when women seek to have highly emotional exchanges and illicit the daily bonding experiences they require. 

Less can do more.

Been talking with someone as friends. Got their number and text every now and then. I understand they can be busy as they have children. They mentioned wanting to hangout but whenever I approach hanging out they seem vague about it or gives me short answers. Am I wasting my time trying to get to know this person or should I be patient and try and continue to work with them?

Just because you're wearing rose-tinted glasses does not mean you get to be color blind, too. The worst flaws and the traits that your significant other has at the time—remember, being alone is better than being in a committed relationship with someone who only sees you as something they can take advantage of and treat like dirt.
