you're confusing missing them with wanting them back. I already know that you don't let go of people that easily even when you have to let go, the thought of them still is in your head every day it's daily, and you were good for a little bit, but lately things have been reminding you of them a little bit more. when you're alone the thought of them creeps into your head , you get that feeling in your chest where your heart kind of drops a little bit. you've been Reminiscing on all the conversations you guys had of what you guys were going to be the future that you guys had planned together, you can still remember the sound of their voice telling you that they loved you , and there's that thought that's in the back of your head right now that's saying you want to go back ,you want to try again just one more time. because people change right, feelings change. things can get better. i mean maybe it was you, ,maybe you could have loved them better, maybe you could have stayed a little bit longer, maybe you could have hope for a better even more. But the thing is you don't want them back you want the version of them that you created in your head to be true, but they will never be that person for you. they are not capable of giving you the love that you need and the love that you deserve, and you know that.
