This Land Is Mine
Jealousy and a sense of entitlement are normal feelings, though how we behave in response to such emotions means a lot, and can have far-reaching consequences. People aren't property, and every moment we share with those we love is a gift. As understandable as it is to feel jealous when someone we value isn't giving us attention, we should consider and communicate our feelings appropriately. It may be that a past betrayal is inflaming our insecurities, and our partners need to respect this may be the case. Coveting that which we desire is not unusual, but it's important to ensure we aren't acting like spoiled children, only interested in a forgotten toy after another kid has shown interest. And it is seldom, if ever, flattering to be treated as an object or possession. {The Package by A Perfect Circle} https://youtu.be/m2Yhn6-jJPE

How we respond to emotions and certain situations show our real character, and having a sense of jealousy is ok, we are humans and we feel each and every emotion, especially if things are not going our way we tend to react in different ways to control those feelings. But nobody deserves to be treated as an object. And proper communication is key to any stable human connection...this is deep, Grey. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Thank you! I should mention too that sometimes, people are more jealous in a relationship because they've been hurt before. Memories of betrayal increase insecurities.
