I just got out of a year and a half relationship where I felt everything was great, he then told me he wanted a break for a while, and potentially will come to me when he's ready, but before that he wants to travel the world, which will take a while. Am I wrong to want to wait on him and put my happiness on pause because he was the best thing that's ever happened to me? Any thoughts?

Pretty sure this guy just wanted to dump you and keep you in reserve as a possible (not even guaranteed) partner for when he's ready to settle down.
