How would you feel about your partner being close friends with someone they used to have a casual sexual relationship with, assuming you knew for certain nothing else would happen between them?
Not asking for personal reasons, just interested in hearing people's opinions. I've noticed most people I ask this question to tend to assume that almost everyone else would agree with them, regardless of whether they'd be okay with it or not.

It has been my experience that men specifically tend to never stop trying to rekindle or reignite a relationship with a woman they have previously had a physical relationship with in the past, and women who keep their ex-partners around do so for the attention, verging on narcissism... I wouldn't keep either around.

It entirely depends on how they act together. Lol

And no it's not insecurity. It is a respect thing. You want to entertain old connections with obvious foundations, then do that alone. That's like me being friends with my ex and hanging out with them. Why be friends with an ex specially when they do you wrong.
