7Religion is man made and you're wrong on the "empathy is a biological survival trait". If you believe that we came from monkeys just look at how monkeys treat monkeys from outside their troop, they kill them. We have all come from the one true God, the maker of heaven and earth and the sea and everything in it. You might say "he's not my God", but that's doesn't change the fact that he is our Father. If you found peace beyond belief wouldn't you want to share that with people? With the world?

7And you're honestly a better person when you do something nice for someone else just because rather than doing it for some perceived reward from your god. It's like putting a shopping cart away at most stores vs putting one away at Aldi. Are you returning it because it's the right thing, it because you want your quarter back?

5I don't think the intelligent religious claim a monopoly on morality. They claim that God is the source of uniform moral objectiveness. i.e. don't kill, don't steal, With that: Carl Jung did a lot of work on the subject of trauma-born empaths, and his work indicates that empathy is a survival strategy that comes from one of two sources: 1. Being praised and loved unconditionally. 2. Growing up fearful. The second case, trauma-born empaths clearly show a lack of moral objectiveness and willingness to do whatever keeps them safe, regardless of the moral "goodness" of the act. Ask me how I know...
