Could you date someone who's religious beliefs differ from yours?
Anyone done this and made it work? There's someone in my life that I really like but he's Christian and I'm not and it makes me hesitant to pursue anything.

It...depends. it depends on how important each person's belief is to them. A lot of religions have a goal of conversation, ultimately, so if it's that important to them it may not be. Best course is to be up front. This is what I believe and I'm not willing to change that. Then see how they feel

Personally I've tried that.. I'm sure he likes you, and doesn't judge you for your beliefs, but if he is vocal about it, I think there will be some things that the both of you will have to find common ground and compromise on. Make sure to talk about what exactly he expects out of you in the long run. Future outlooks and potential scenarios. Even if he doesn't expect you to change much or right now, it's best to hear both sides and how much the both of you are willing to accept and work with. It will prevent heartache. ๐๐
