I actually admire people who show strong dedication to their chosen area of belief. What I tend to watch from a relational standpoint is how they act towards others who are not of the same faith. Do they act superior? Are they closed off? Are they accepting? Are they open? Can they handle being challenged? Are they looking to convert you or are they just sharing? Do they build a life around their faith or do they treat it as though it's their only salvation? Things like that usually come to mind. I'm not particularly religious myself, so someone's belief or lack thereof doesn't really matter as much to me as to what degree they can handle contrast and difference.
