4It definitely is not, I think you need to let the person know what your love language is, so they can give you what you want... A lot of men nowadays feel like they can't do these things because noone seems to understand what "feminism" means.(That's a story for another day 🤭). A simple thing like putting the question in your profile, can help your future partner.

3These things exist, but we've been told that behavior like this is "cringe," "simp," or "not real and only a ploy to get into the woman's pants." Also there are one acceptable reasons to to pay attention to women other than your SO, the woman is a family member (of either party) and the attention is familial in nature.

1I wouldn't put too much stock into that. I think anyone can feign chivalry, especially at the very beginning. Adding: I prefer real. If a guy doesn't hold doors open (among other considerate things), doesn't do any household chores, or is a mama's boy...I want to see that at the beginning so that I can run away sooner. It's just easier for all involved. (edited)

2Well I’m not sure how to answer this one? Women have become so independent that they have become used to being the “boss chick” so she had to be the go getter when they guy comes along to open they door she’s puzzled. I used to be that way too, but now I welcome a guy being a gentleman. It makes me feel more feminine and cherished.

I feel its more of society telling girls they need to be badasses and independent, personally all i want in my life is someone i can chill with and play games and watch anime together, take her out amd spend time and so much more. The worlds taking a turn and personally its made me feel im not welcome being in it anymore woman get so much support and hype so many men get torn down by woman that personally i feel scared to go in public areas i just stay home where i feel unjudged and in my safe space.

Some men (I’m talking about my friend Matt) don’t do it cause they don’t see the point in it. Or they are self conscious of what people might think. Personally I don’t care whether we are in public or alone if I care for someone or even love someone I make sure not to hide it. Chivalry is dead to a point. Not many men hold doors open or anything fancy like that. (I do but that’s irrelevant) but when it comes to actual love and caring. I don’t think it will ever die.

Maybe you should consider once to start talking to the guys you normally ignore for not being what you want them to be, you will be surprised that you've been looking for chivalry in wrong men. Most of the girls i know are attracted to toxic men the worst part is they know they are toxic and still wanna be with them dosen't matter if the guy is single or dating someone already. I have been in a situation like this and since I've stopped looking out for them. It is sad

It is in fact not dead. There are men out here like myself who are looking for real romantic relationship. And like myself I am genuinely a nice guy. Just seems that since I am a little over 50, a little over weight, that I am not worth a second look. I have average looks, a stocky dad bod. And many good qualities. But with the whole swipe mentality of online dating, I get passed by. I only want one good person to be at my side. And willing to maintain open communications, and share love with them daily. I am a romantic sap, and not going to change. Question is: When will someone actually take the time to see the true me and know what true love can be?

7There are men like that, but times have also changed. Pay attention to how they behave towards others who they feel they have power over. From service staff, to homeless, to anyone outside their immediate circle. Those are clear indicators of their personality, because they gain nothing from being positive to them other than just showing they are positive. Also, times change. What is chivalrous can change, just as we expect people now to be more tolerant and understanding. Find someone who communicates the same way (read up on love languages for example) and it may be easier. There are good people in this world.

cavaliers were overtaken by the fight for equality and the desire to show that women should also chop wood;) as for giving attention to another person, as long as you have good self-confidence and know your worth, no one can take your place. if some takes your place, someone better is waiting for you around the corner. Btw I am oldschool;)

1Chivalry had its meaning in the Past Era. Nowadays when a guy tends to help out in good notions its misunderstood, blamed, Harassed and Criticized for giving a Hand to the person in need. All the guys who went out of their way and helped are the one's who indeed had their Share of their own experiences towards the compassion among humanity & somewhat believed that this accursed society has their own kind among their surroundings. They too stop doing this coz they're labelled as "Simp" or "Cringe".
