The first question is, where are you looking? If you’re in the wrong body of water, and you’re a cool fish, but there’s nothing but sharks. Well, that’s a bad pool to find romance. The other problem is, we as humans have gotten so used to focusing on what we relate to with others. Really, some of the best relationships (friendships included), are between two people with little to no internests in common but actually enjoy the company of each other. To put it differently, try engaging with people you don’t have a ton of interests in common. Lastly, it takes familiarity to have romance. Meaning, if the first date wasn’t perfect (it’s actually concerning if it is), try a second date, try again. People overall are boring, that’s a good thing. People who you feel calm & safe with are your people. Anxiety (butterflies) isn’t always an indication that you shouldn’t be around someone, especially if it’s jitters, or on occasion because you overthought the situation, however if it’s constant, well that’s your body saying run. Regardless, life happens, keep yourself actively engaged with others, and it will fall into place.

Do you like art? (Not that I am art). Have you ever seen the painting of "Birth of Venus"? Sandro Botticelli's painting of “The Birth of Venus” portrays a notion of romanticism and defines the character of Venus to be of beauty and mystical power. When we look at art are we not swept up in the romance of this painting. The painting has always been a favourite of mine as how Venus is portrayed in it, surrounded by many, yet truly alone. Think about that when you look at my picture. What are you seeing? Your vision of what you think is not acceptable in society and a poor way to elicit a response about romance? Or a piece of art that when looked at for what it is can bring forth beautiful thoughts of what romance can be. Let go of what societal constraints have instilled upon you and look at the picture for what it is. What feelings it inspires...if any. Do not judge from what is not there. Imagine what it could be. Imagine the beauty beneath. Do you see sexy or tawdry? So you sensual or sinful? Do you see desperate or beauty within? Am I looking for your approval or was my question about where this woman must go? I love all your comments and would love to read more. I will respond to each and every one. Even those with not so nice verbiage. Last, for all, I am actually clothed in this photo. I am not free, nor to be used, nor ever give of myself I do not offer of thy own will. Remember always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and romance in the truest of hearts. Batgalim
