It really depends on a lot of things. It's a prettycomplexmatter. When it comes down to it, I won't close off the option to being friends but I'll weigh the decision heavily on if I can seeus maintaining a decent relationship; onewithout toxity and ill will.
I'm friends with some of my exes. I've learned a lot from them. I want to see their success but I know they will never be apart of mine.

It depends on the persons that are involved. In my case I just don't want to have further contact with my exs.
Depends on how it ended, if boundaries are respected, and if it does not actively cause harm to either person.
I'm friends with a few of my ex's and glad of it. Other ex's I would ratherdrinkbleach.

Sorry I don't agree totally with you, depends much factors I'm still friend of my ex after 10 years relationship, because before she left me she still be honest and ask to end up the relation, before start with other guy, and for the respect of the marriage and ours two daughters , still childs, so yeah, still friends after all, and for the good of our daughters , we put them always in first place....

I stay friends with all of my exes. There are a few that I have to friend zone, but they also know that I wouldn't date them again and they don't mind it too much. But I would say it depends on the situation and the contents of the relationship.

I don't remain friends with them. In good terms, yes. But we don't go out or speak on a daily basis or few times a week. There are plenty of people on this planet who will be more of a friend to me than my ex. Who knows, maybe he will catch feelings again and he will try to mess up my life. This happened 🤣

Yes it is. She is my best friend now. She has a boyfriend and he treats her well and is a nice dude. I had a gf too while being friends. It depends on the mindset and why did you broke up.
