Broken Heart
I am not here to tell you the obvious, most people know the pain of having a broken heart. Some more than others, some maybe never experienced real love. It's always a matter of perspective. What I am here to tell you is that up until recently, I don't think I actually experienced real love. The feeling I had everytime I thought about her was way different. She was not just my girlfriend, she was a potential best friend. But that's all irrelevant since it appears she never actually felt the same way. She proved this not by her words when she broke up, but by her actions afterwards. How she could just blatantly go looking for the next guy when I was still in shambles. To experience all of this was great though. It opened my eyes to the possibility that somewhere out there, there's a person who could love me that way. I have moved on not by meeting someone new, but I moved on by realizing I am also worth that love I gave her. So the point I am trying to make is that you all too have someone out there that will love you the way I loved her. #love #brokenheart

I'm sorry about your heartbreak but I wanted to say, women check out of relationships sometimes before they break up. It may seem like she just "moved" on but most times they have already been struggling with whatever it was they felt they were missing or unhappy with and mentally disconnected. Women are more based on emotion so this is an emotional disconnect most likely. Either way, it's terrible and I hope you get better soon. Finding True Love is hard.

Yeah, you are right. She did say she felt this way for a while. I knew she would move on and date others and I was preparing for it. Just didn't think it would be the week after and that she'd smear it in my face. But I appreciate your comment!

@Kai to me it's still a lack of respect for the relationship on her end and she's honestly probably going to suffer from that later. It's important to take time to heal after relationships. Just because it's ending doesn't mean it shouldn't be handled with care if she loved you at some point. I think people become selfish when they breakup and don't consider the other person at all. I mean if you were abusive or a cheater (I'm assuming you're not, hopefully) then fine. But not if it was amicable

What Ivy said. "pottential best friend" so it was based on ur expectations. Pain is a b*ch on that process. Feel it, assume it front line. Also identify what u like and what u learnt not to allow the next time (lessons), obv it requires emotional control.. But the whole point is the What u learn from Yourself! Not with anger or resentful, but with logic thats why u need to feel first then logic the experience. 🌄 You got this man.

No matter how much it kills us we sometimes have to accept that everything happens for a reason. Some of the people come into our lives to stay , some for a while when the universe has decided that we need them, some forever and some people are meant to just teach us a lesson. Once upon i time i fell head over heals in love with a man who never shared my feelings..but my, was i patient. After almost six years i gave up on him and just allowed myself to realize that he’s not for ME. He was meant to teach me a lesson and know thanks to him, i know what i’m worth and deserve, i know what i’m not willing to put up with ever again, i’ve set my standards so high people may find it unreasonable. I’ve learned from my past mistakes and i’ve become strong and am no longer a slave for my emotions. There is someone out there for you. There are mutiple paths but there is only one final destination and no matter how fast, slow, hard or easy your journey will get, you’ll always end up where you’re supposed to be with the people who are supposed to be there with you. ❤️

I am sorry to hear that you had to go through such an ordeal. I am happy though that it came with wisdom to carry you past and through. I do share your beliefs. Somewhere there is a person who will love me the way I deserve just as you will find someone. Of that I am sure.

You know, I experienced somewhat the same thing. My problem is that I fell for her. I fell hard and fast. I thought she felt the same, but I reacted badly (apparently) once (I have anxiety and I got a little anxious and panicked) It must have freaked her out. Next thing I knew, I was ghosted and blocked. She's what I call my week-long girlfriend. My problem is that we clicked so well that it hurt so bad when she dumped me.
