I have ADHD and can be a total pain in the arse at times. All my friends make compromises for me so i think I'm more sympathetic about a troubled past or an odd trait or two.

We all have a past and most people have done something they regret too, however if they learnt from it and in doing so became a better version of themselves then there is no issue (well unless they committed something serious like murder, rape or paedophilia as that's totally different) .... We can find a partner who is everything you wished for but if that connection between you both just isn't there, then eventually it will fall apart at the seams.
