6M SOULS
All arguments are resolved in one way;)
That they face real-life problems
As it has already been commented, to seem real it must reflect reality, so not the usual Disney dream story, but reality is also made of arguments, clashes, and the ability to forgive... a film that I liked very much even though it is not recent, but that I gladly watch again is: The Notebook. When they look at each other, many times the gazes feel empty, but there are moments when it seems like they really care for each other.
The performance between them projects a real chemistry, making you truly believe the story, because they convey it to you.
A few romantic films show couples holding hands, looking sincerely into each other's eyes, not turning away from one another, and being each other's support.
The credibility of the on-screen couple relies on natural chemistry and authentic micro-gestures that appear as uncontrolled reactions to their partner. It is crucial to create a unique language of the relationship.
Loyalty, respect, love, trust
The arguments
When I get a partner I will come back and comnent
When the story is coherent, and the characters within the story are not drawn to each other simply "for no reason," but because, like in real life, they show compatibilities or qualities that enhance each other, or were there for one another in significant moments of their lives.
The credibility of the on-screen couple relies on natural chemistry and authentic micro-gestures that appear as uncontrolled reactions to each other. It is crucial to create a unique language of the relationship – full of their own jokes, allusions, and little jabs that set them apart from the rest of the world.
Two minds become one in argument and debate. (edited)
Silence and peace of mind
That relationship problems can be fixed.
The treatment and how they resolve their fights.
For me, it’s not just chemistry or grand romantic gestures. ❤️ It’s the little things—the way they listen, remember tiny details, make each other laugh, feel safe being vulnerable, and choose each other even when things aren’t perfect. When their connection feels like two real people, not two characters written to fall in love, that’s when I believe it. ✨ What makes a movie couple feel real to you?
The looks, the fights, and the meetings in the end always with a lot of difficulty but it happens the happy ending ☺️
There is nothing credible in the love of others, because we cannot appreciate the qualities properly nor overlook the flaws of someone we do not love. The logic of love does not exist for those on the outside, and for those on the inside, it is not necessary.
The chemistry between them is in the details. When you believe not in a beautiful story, but in the fact that these two could really fall in love.
The hope of one day happening to us.
The conflicts that arise in a disagreement between two people. I believe that many times we seek that image of a couple that has no disagreements, but that would be looking for a somewhat unrealistic version of what a relationship truly is. A relationship involves a lot of understanding and respecting the person even in ideas with which one does not share the same opinion. Because that is precisely where a seed of growth in the bond you have with that person sprouts.
Gaze.
The naturalness of getting along where nothing feels forced.
The chemistry
Summary
The community overwhelmingly said believability comes from conflict handled honestly: couples who argue, stay mad for a while, and then repair things without losing each other. Nearly as many pointed to natural chemistry and the wordless stuff, especially shared looks and a connection that never feels forced, with Pride and Prejudice and Eternal Sunshine cited as proof. Others credited flawed, imperfect lives that are not magically fixed, plus tiny relatable details, inside jokes and everyday gestures that mirror real relationships. Respect, trust, comfort and loving a partner exactly as they are rounded things out, while a playful handful admitted they will answer once they finally have a partner.
