Particular situation, at least from a technical point of view. If it wasn't a sport dive, which it isn't beyond 40 meters, why did they go down with a surface marker buoy, without a line, and not take into account all the safety regulations that a basic specialty certification (wreck and similar) teaches you? I found it strange what our experts told us because they didn't consider many conditions that the victims overlooked. Then it's so strange because anyone who has dived in the Maldives knows that the currents are impressive. And if they apparently knew roughly the structure of the cave, you should expect a Venturi effect or a strong current against you or something like that. Then I heard the story about the finning on the bottom that would have stirred up the sand. I wonder which experienced diver dares to kick up a gram of sand with their fins, unless they are in an extreme condition. And maybe that's how it went.
