I found this both funny and true. What I will advise you on (not that you asked) as someone that lives this same issue, drop all expectations. Literally drop anything that you have an expected outcome and just sit with the reality of what is. You will suffer more if you hold to comparing the old days with now. Humans throughout time have sought the path of least resistance to attain their goals and dating now is no different. Technology has enabled us to see and meet people we never would have before, and allow us to not "settle" for someone we normally would not have been with, because there is so much more potential out there. This environment is now about safe connections that feel right, rational and provide the most benefit for all involved. You got this!! just keep up the perseverance, its depressing as hell, I will give you that, but that sweetens the outcomes down the road. Good luck!!
