All-electric airplanes are here! (kind of)

Question

The world’s first all-electric passenger aircraft, named Alice, made history with an eight-minute inaugural flight. Eviation Aircraft plans to deliver the zero-emission planes to customers by 2027.

Do you think these will ever be commercially viable?

It's only 0 emissions if the electricity was produced using 0 emissions. We also have to consider the work that goes into obtaining the materials for the batteries and the impact that has and what is done with the batteries when their life expectancy is reached.

Depends  if they have the same problem as the cars then no but they would in a senses be cheaper to make
