Biological Immortality

Seems like a tremendously worthwhile goal. If it becomes available, would you take it? Why or why not?

No because living forever is a punishment in itself....... I'm planning to clock out at 75 and hopefully never come back

I absolutely would! I have books to write, the world to explore, people to meet. I find it weird how many people hate the idea. It feels like high school nihilism, or like they took sci-fi books a bit too seriously. (A lot of them are about how humans are special because we have to make do with the short time we have, which expands to art and purpose, etc etc.) But... yeah, given immortality I'd go for it. Biological immortality isn't even 'true fantastic immortality' where you would survive even after the sun expands and takes you. You can still end it when ready, or get taken by an accident. Regardless, I'm posting the following for the anime nerds like myself: https://youtube.com/watch?v=CaffHmvr9BU&feature=shareshttps://youtube.com/watch?v=CaffHmvr9BU&feature=shares

It'd be nice to stop all the negatives if aging, but I'm not sure I want immortality. Just to be healthy until I'm ready to go.
