Venus is a much more attractive option, we have the technology and the ability to mitigate acidic enviornment and its a nice balmy 100 degrees in the cloud layers complete with protection from radiation from the sun. won't be doing much on the surface but we can have cloud cities and potentially generate biomaterials or grow plants suitable to the enviornment with a few things like a sun shade and grow wood and plants year round. shackleton crater on the moon is also a good option minus the low gravity and potential for solar storms. the only jobs there are going to be mining tho. and i'd much rather pilot a robot with my body from earth and have an AI predict the future one minute ahead so i can move it in real time. lol for power on venus we can just stick a probe at the bottom have it heat up a water element for steam and generate electricity run AC units. we could be comfortable safe, grow food, do science potentially look for extremophiles, and other archea yeah you'd need shipments from earth but rockets are getting better and cheaper. and the idea of living or starting a venesiun cloud base sounds a lot more fun than building an orbital mri machine that can block out the suns deadly radiation, suffering bone loss, and also losing mitochrondia, and potentially having premature glacoma due to fluid buildup in zero g.

Yep, colonizing another planet could end lots of problems, mainly land problems since its another planet. However we would need lots of technology we dont have today to do fast travels between both worlds. Mars was once a habitable planeta and now is rust so dont come and say to me we will ruin another planet, its already ruined and its just a lifeless piece of rock in the world Im sure it wont care.

With the current technology we have, its a bit impossible. However, history have proven to us that when put into extremes, human have a very high ressillience. Mars have so much to harvest back to earth, therefore its a good idea just not now

Nah, don’t think that would be a good idea. We already have enough problems here back on Earth like climate change, rapid exctinction, pollution, etc. so I think we should address those first. Plus, I highly doubt how sustainable traveling to Mars is, let alone trying to make a whole society there
