4Wake-on-Lan configuration with a Cloudflare based endpoint equals a home laptop that you can boot from any device with a browser.
It probably could be a bit more elegant, but after the second time of leaving home and realizing too late that I had left my laptop off, which kept me from remotely connecting to it, its "Good enough for government work", as a former Calculus professor of mine regularly said.
