Android. Never wanted an iPhone, but my impression is that they over regulate everything on iPhone to to make it attractively idiot proof to use. At the same time they limit user customization and freedom so they can over charge for every little thing. It makes sense it would appeal to liberals. I do not like the brand image.

Android I like having control over my phone and being able to do what I want to it and not being locked out of admin features. As a systems administrator this is important to me. I want to have more control over my phone than the company that sold it to me. That said I'd you buy into the apple ecosystem they have really good integration between their own product lines and their ease of use is better than Android typically.

SPECIFICALLY the LG keyboard slide I had in like... 2015. So... neither? Cause in my opinion smart phones (all of them) were perfect a few years ago. Perfect size, headphone jack (because they're so much damn cheaper), and they've never really changed other than size and picture quality. Well... and maybe storage in some cases. But overall, I'd say android. They both do the same damn things, just one is cheaper cause the other you're basically paying for the name.

A lot of people ain't gonna like this but I don't care. 💀 but I stick with android because there is more freedom and you get what you actually paid for. Iphones are the only phones on the market with 60hz displays yet they are over 900$ per phone. Apple is about to lose a lot of money and customers because there too stubborn to change their charging port to an usb c port which is mandatory in the EU. The EU is a huge part of the apples traffic, without it there sell rate will plummit. So there is a high change you will see an Portless iphone soon (irdk 🙄) If I keep going it'll last forever so I'll skip the rest of the details for apple. Android however you get affordable prices for good phones, 90hz - 120 hz displays (smooth transitions/animations.) Higher quality displays, Better battery life, Better privacy, Better performance, More control and you aren't charged for the essential things that every one should have. This is a small list anyways. (edited)
