I think of him often. Too often for my own good. I daydream about all the things we would do together, the issues we'd face and overcome, the comfort we would bring in times of stress and sorrow. I know I am needy. How can I not be? When I cry, I weep for my own desires; left unfulfilled and nothing but a dream. In those moments, I wish he existed. I wish he were there. If only he were in my presence, or I in his, I'm certain I would feel much better. Though... wanting him most when I feel sorry for myself is wrong and unfair. I wish not to be a burden. I want him to see me happy too. And he would make me happy. Very happy. It it unfortunate that his existence is nothing more than a dream; but fortune does not favour every soul. When I cry, I wish he was there... just so I can reach out and touch him. Honestly, I'm like a toddler with these incessant desires; and so I feel foolish and incredibly unworthy. Perhaps I am. I muddle through everyday... and fortunately (or unfortunately) I don't feel so pained all the time. I have accepted my sole role; but that does not rid me of my desire. I have made it into nothing but a dream. If I could, I'd subject myself to sorcery to obtain his existence. But if I did, would he even love me then? I should hope so... What's the point of wishing a loved one into existence only for them to resent you for it? I often think of ways I would disappoint him... I don't want to, not ever, but I fear it is something unavoidable. I want to make him happy, but how can I do that when I struggle to find happiness today? And don't you dare start with that "happiness is a choice," nonsense. Forcing someone to expression an emotion they are currently incapable of feeling is cruel and only adds to the misery; especially when it's just to make you feel better. At least, you don't necessarily have to hide on public forums. I can say whatever I wish; and people can publicly agree or disagree. I cannot control you... but I wish the common man would think twice before proclaiming "it's okay." What utter nonsense. Positive preaching lacks empathy. Though, I suppose I'm preaching now myself. I'm sorry. I got off track. Sometimes I can only think of how my family would respond. They try to understand and I know they care about me to a degree; but there is definitely a separate in understanding. Maybe I created it, or maybe we both did. I'm not sure. When I think of my husband... I imagine a man I can rely on almost all of the time. Of course, it's quite impossible to rely on someone 24/7, 365, but... A man who knows what to say - or more so what to do when my brain is overridden with painful thoughts. Actually, he doesn't have to say anything at all. When I am greatly upset, and when I think of him... all he has to do is gently hold me. As long as he's there and I can feel him, I'm sure I'll begin to feel better. Helping myself by myself through the pain day in and day out can be exhausting and make things all the more depressing... but it is much better than getting the wrong sort of "sympathy." I don't know why I chose to prattle. I just forgot about this app and... I guess I feel like this is a good place to go on and on about this stuff. If I can just talk about him, maybe it will be just enough to go on without him. I mourn him greatly. He is so dear to me and we may never meet. I love him so much. I cherish and adore him. And I would make absolutely certain that he knew just how much I adore him if he stood before me every day. Why, I'd adorn him with kisses, capture him in an embrace, put my hand in his... so he knows I'm there for him too.
