I have always felt that if someone needs to show off their relationship online and it's not a big event(eg they're getting married, having a baby, something like that), then they're trying to convince themselves their relationship is going well despite the fact that it isn't.

The cynic in me says 9/10 of those relationships are being held together by cheating or "just friends " cuddling 🤣 it seems impossible to foster a loving emotional connection to some one without being able to even touch their hand.
