In the past, when I traveled, I would always buy gifts for friends and family but I've stopped over the last few years for various reasons but I think this bothers a few people. So I'm curious to know if anyone else is like me or do you always buy gifts for others while traveling?

My mom traveled plenty but her recent trip to Scotland I asked if she would get something. That's a dream of mine to go there and to Ireland. I could understand a country they may never get to go to but expecting a gift from every single place you travel isn't your concern nor should it be. They can save their own money and get their own gifts.
