I live in the West, but the East is culturally very attractive, and Diyarbakır, Van, Mardin, and Tunceli are definitely places to visit. The Black Sea side, Samsun and Tokat were nice. Istanbul, thanks to Tuzla, Beykoz, and Ataköy, is very pleasant.
