I used to run a 7:45 second mile. Now I can do it in 12 but my heart is going to be pumping at max. Apply this to just about every part of living. You could do it better ten years ago

If you are fortunate to escape serious injury and stay active, you can remain physically healthy for a long time. The more Insidious part is the mental toll that life takes. Stress, heartbreak, grief and traumas aren't so easily avoided. It's not all grim by any means but that stuff can be more crippling than a bad back or a heart condition.
