Morning cup of thought

While driving to school, my daughter and I have conversations, share stories, and have lighthearted debates, and today's struck a chord with me and had me thinking... To preface, my daughter is spoiled by her grandparents, she gets toys, barbies, books, etc. Our conversation revolved around tangible vs intangible memories. She loves talking about how important the stuffed otter is that she has, which was given to me by my uncle before he passed away i was very young. We're also planning a trip to Japan within the next year. A life changing experience, and one that we will never forget, even if we dont come back with anything "tangible", but this more revolves around the tangible memories... What is your line for what would be considered a tangible memory? Because, barbies and toys will come and go, heck i hardly remember a quarter of what i played with as a kid. But the stuffed otter holds a special place within our lives. When does a "toy" become more than that? When does it become "sentimental" What are your thoughts?
