4yShare an unpopular opinion - go!
I'll go first. Going to/finishing university education isn't as vital as people make it out to be. There are plenty of professions that don't require a college education and getting hands on experience younger can be a huge benefit. Plus, it saves you the financial struggle - you could be making bank instead of paying off student loans. Lastly, being book smart doesn't get you anywhere in life unless you have street smarts too; just because you have credentials on paper doesn't guarantee a stable future. Anywho thanks for coming to my Ted talk (:

I think an easy way to make life easier, is if we had less children. Think about it...... why is there so much competition? Why is there an abundance of people but way less jobs? Why is life so crowded, and why are we wasting so many resources? 7 billion people is too much. if we had way less children, we can reduce that number and make it easier to buy a new home and support yourself. We are quickly running out of space to build new homes and provide new jobs :/

Oh boy. One I get canned for all the time is my thoughts about humans and our place with nature. In short, we're still a part of it. No matter how hard we isolate ourselves from it and try to change the natural world, it is there and always should be. In turn, we are a part of it, for better or for worse. This goes two ways. We need to respect it more. Preserve it and it's beauty, because the denial of our role has led to a progressive destruction of the Earth's perfection. That doesn't just mean being more conscious about our consumption, like how we establish and run farms or industry, but taking a more hand on approach to wildlife management. We should hunt and gather more like those before us, after cutting back on what's already unnecessarily killed off flora and fauna. There's so much more that I can say, but I think that gets the basic idea across.

My unpopular opinion... Most of societal expectations are a trap. A structure that society-at-large has unwittingly placed over you to prevent you from rejecting (and perhaps overturning) the status quo.

I know it's been said but definitely expecting ppl to be married and have kids is the most outdated thing I have ever heard

Learn to be selfish or you will become dependent on fulfilling other people's needs. Conversely, learn to do things with intention to genuinely help those that you value. I thoroughly believe that learning to combine both of these will result in both independent passion/motivation and sustainable life fulfillment.

My unpopular opinion is that the mental health system is too focused on the biological cause behind peoples mental illnesses and ignores the spiritual and emotional cause behind peoples mental illness.

Humans don't actually have traditional free will. Everything we do has to do with our genetics and surroundings.
