Adding muscle

Sunday was an insanely busy day, I packed in nearly 19k steps with multiple walks, cooked twice, worked on taxes, went to see a play, went to a Latin social, went to a vespers service, I was itching for a lift sesh tho so I left the Latin social after an hour of dancing to squeeze in an hour before my next appt. Superset lifts: Pushups & walking lunges in my warmup bridge into Shrugs & supermans warmup cap off DB single arm rows & barbell standing calf raises Zottman curls & Bulgarian split squats Swiss ball stir-the-pots & db half kneeling chops for core I’m rowing 45s now - up to 10 rep sets ea arm Bulgarians with 25s now (50 total weight) - up to 13 reps ea leg which means an increase is coming soon fml. I’ve added 2.6 lbs of muscle and 0.2 lbs of bone mass while shedding 5.7 lbs of body fat in the last 3 months. Actually a week shy of 3 mos. 😁

Hell yeah! Progress is slow, but as long as you keep going consistently, it *will* come. Took me a good few months to get my barbell curls up to 70 pounds, but I did eventually get there. Crazy that you can lift after doing all that, though. I'm always down to push some weights after a day at work, but in your shoes, I probably would have gotten home and crashed for the night. Willpower like that isn't common, but it's one of the most valuable things you can bring to the gym. 💪 💪
