I know I have a lot on my profile that states what I want and don't want...however, it's not EVERYTHING that I do and don't want. Those are just the most important ones. I know I've rejected a lot of *likes* for things like distance, lifestyle choices, terrible profile pics, lack of bio, profile being in a different language, etc...just like I'm sure plenty of guys have swiped left for their own various reasons. Bottom line...don't give up. (edited)

Basically, beggars can be choosers, I know I'm picky, women just have preferences too and it all depends on who you meet. Women are generally overwhelmed on dating sites too, and they have to be more careful who they decide to give their time to. That's not to say they won't, simply that there are outside forces that force a lot of women to approach online dating differently.

They're going to start off by looking at your photos to see if they're attracted to you. I recommend that you find or take photos of yourself having a good time, out with friends and family, etc to show off the good parts of your personality. There's stuff written in your bio but words don't compare to that first impression. Also, any given woman will not feel attracted to most men. Like she could get 100 messages, check them out, and only like a few of them based on their photos. Some people will have more success because they're better looking or more photogenic. And women will take attraction into account before trying to get to know someone.

Just a thought... maybe they (the women) aren't ready to find what they say they are looking for. Or maybe they aren't being authentic with themselves. The "right one" isn't going to toss you aside.
